Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your data.

This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of your information when you use Dispatchr ("the Service") and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

We use your Personal Data to provide and improve the Service. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation and Definitions

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

Definitions

  • "Account" means a unique account created for you to access our Service or parts of our Service.
  • "Company" (referred to as "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to Corey Alan Consulting, operating the Dispatchr platform, located in the United States. For the purpose of the GDPR, the Company is the Data Controller.
  • "Country" refers to the United States.
  • "Cookies" are small files placed on your device by a website, containing browsing history details among its many uses.
  • "Device" means any device that can access the Service such as a computer, cell phone, or digital tablet.
  • "Personal Data" is any information that relates to an identified or identifiable individual.
  • "Service" refers to the Dispatchr website and platform, accessible from https://dispatchr.social
  • "Service Provider" means any natural or legal person who processes the data on behalf of the Company.
  • "Third-party Social Media Service" refers to any website or social network through which a User can log in or create an account to use the Service, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • "Usage Data" refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself.
  • "You" means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Personal Data

While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you, including but not limited to:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name
  • Usage Data

Social Media Account Data

When you connect third-party social media accounts (such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or YouTube), we collect and store:

  • Your social media account identifiers and usernames
  • Access tokens and refresh tokens required to manage your accounts
  • Page and account information you authorize us to access
  • Content you create and schedule through our platform

All access tokens are encrypted at rest. We only access the permissions you explicitly grant during the OAuth authorization flow.

Google API Services — YouTube Integration

Our YouTube integration uses Google API Services. Dispatchr's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

  • We only use YouTube data to provide and improve the social media management features you explicitly use (publishing videos, reading channel metrics).
  • We do not use YouTube data for advertising or to serve ads.
  • We do not transfer YouTube data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., transmitting your video to YouTube for publishing).
  • We do not use YouTube data for surveillance or tracking purposes.
  • You can revoke Dispatchr's access to your Google account at any time by visiting Google Account Permissions.

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. This may include your Device's Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser version, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers, and other diagnostic data.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service and manage your social media posts and scheduling.
  • To manage your Account and your registration as a user of the Service, including connecting and managing your third-party social media accounts.
  • To perform a contract including the development, compliance, and undertaking of the purchase contract for products, items, or services you have purchased.
  • To contact you by email or other equivalent forms of electronic communication regarding updates or informative communications related to the Service.
  • To manage your requests and to attend to and manage your requests to us.

Sharing Your Personal Data

We may share your personal information in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers: We share your data with third-party service providers to monitor and analyze usage, and to provide the social media management functionality of the Service.
  • With Social Media Platforms: When you schedule or publish content, we transmit that content to the respective social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube) on your behalf using the access you have granted.
  • For legal reasons: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
  • With your consent: We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose with your consent.

We do not sell your Personal Data.

Platform-Specific Data Practices

We collect and use data from each connected social media platform as follows:

YouTube (Google)

When you connect a YouTube channel, we access your channel information, video upload capabilities, and video performance metrics (views, likes, comments). This data is used solely to publish content on your behalf and display analytics within the Service. See the "Google API Services" section above for Limited Use disclosures.

TikTok

When you connect a TikTok account, we access your profile information and video publishing capabilities. We collect engagement metrics (views, likes, comments, shares) for content published through our Service. All TikTok data is deleted from our systems when you disconnect your account.

LinkedIn

When you connect a LinkedIn account, we access your profile information, company page information (if applicable), and the ability to publish posts on your behalf. We collect engagement metrics for content published through our Service.

Facebook & Instagram (Meta)

When you connect Facebook or Instagram accounts, we access your page information, publishing capabilities, and content insights. We collect engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares, impressions) for content published through our Service. You can request data deletion through Meta directly, and we support Meta's data deletion callback mechanism. See our Data Deletion Instructions for details.

Retention and Deletion of Your Data

The Company will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

When you disconnect a social media account, we delete the associated access tokens and account data from our systems.

Data Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. For users who connected via Facebook or Instagram, you can also initiate a data deletion request through your Facebook Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites page. We will process all deletion requests promptly and provide a confirmation code to track the status of your request.

Revoking Platform Access

You can disconnect any social media account from Dispatchr at any time through Settings > Accounts. You can also revoke access directly from each platform:

  • Google / YouTube: Visit Google Account Permissions
  • Facebook / Instagram: Go to Settings & Privacy > Settings > Apps and Websites
  • LinkedIn: Go to Settings > Data Privacy > Third-party connections
  • TikTok: Go to Settings and Privacy > Security and Permissions > Manage App Permissions

When you disconnect or revoke access, we delete the associated access tokens from our systems. For full details, see our Data Deletion Instructions.

Security of Your Data

The security of your Personal Data is important to us. We use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, including encryption of access tokens at rest and secure HTTPS connections for all data in transit. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Service and store certain information. These are used for authentication, session management, and to remember your preferences. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.

Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites and social media platforms that are not operated by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data, please contact us so we can take the necessary action.

GDPR and CCPA Rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights under the GDPR, including:

  • Right of Access: You can download a complete copy of your personal data at any time from Settings > Your Data > Export in your account.
  • Right to Rectification: You can update your personal information through your account settings.
  • Right to Erasure: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings > Your Data > Delete Account. This action is irreversible and removes all personal data, posts, content, templates, and activity history.
  • Right to Data Portability: Your data export is provided in machine-readable JSON format.
  • Right to Object: You may contact us to object to processing of your personal data.

If you are a California resident, the CCPA grants you the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of the sale of your personal information. We do not sell personal information.

You can exercise your rights to access and delete your data directly through your account settings, or by contacting us at the email address below.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Specifically:

  • Account data is retained until you delete your account.
  • Social media access tokens are deleted when you disconnect an account or delete your Dispatchr account.
  • Published content metadata is retained for analytics purposes until account deletion.
  • Audit logs are retained for up to 12 months for security purposes.
  • Login attempt records are retained for 30 days.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
